This guy took the time to say it better than I could. Apparently 50% of people think forward thrust on airplanes is generated from their wheels and not from engines mounted on the wings.

This is a dumb thing to even contemplate, I know. I kinda wish I had the 10 minutes I spent thinking about it back.
