I cannot believe

the Mountain Goats are a sincere band. I expect they'll issue a press statement one day to that effect. We'll all have a good laugh and people will pretend they were in on the joke all along.

Sandy Allen has died at age 53. She stood 7'7" tall. I knew who she was only by virtue of the Split Enz song Sandy Allen, from Time and Tide. RIP
