The Hang Ups

We've been wanting to do an occasional feature on Minneapolis bands. Thought we'd call it The Sound of Minneapolis, but decided that's a stupid title. Maybe a theme, no title. Anyway there's a lot of brilliant music made here, you know. One of the best, if not THE best, bands we have ever heard was the Hang Ups. A classic album of theirs was So We Go, sort of a Sgt Pepper for pencilneck introverts. Not that we would know anything about that.

We're not going to tell you to run out and buy it, cause we realize it's not for everyone. But these guys are on our all-time favorites list, and that list is pretty short.
